Harrisburg University is pursuing innovative approaches to games and learning for performance through its Learning Technologies Master of Science program and its Center for Advanced Entertainment and Learning Technologies.

Harrisburg University offers demand-driven undergraduate, graduate and professional development programs in applied science and technology fields for a diversity of learners. By integrating experiential learning, we educate career-minded individuals in nationally critical science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers, giving them the tools to succeed in a 21st century knowledge-based economy. Our mission also includes a dedication to create, attract and expand economic opportunities in the region.

The Learning Technologies Master of Science program at Harrisburg University is a 36 semester credit hour program that provides students with leading edge approaches and skills to help them apply existing and emerging learning technologies in a variety of environments.

The Center for Advanced Entertainment and Learning Technologies at Harrisburg University is a collaborative partnership with Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center and The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania. The Center partners with central PA businesses and organizations to advance the integration of technology and creative solutions from the classroom to the world of work. Our mission also includes a dedication to create, attract and expand economic opportunities in the central PA region.

LEEF was an interactive professional development event that explored the use of games, simulations and virtual worlds for learning. The program showcased how learning and entertainment technologies have converged, and continue to evolve, to produce new, immersive solutions that are redefining the learning experience.
